The record
Everything we shipped — and everything we cut.
We say most ideas die at the second gate. This is the evidence. Releases, rewrites and abandonments in one list, because a changelog that only lists launches quietly argues the opposite.

The site gets a second face
Changed
Every colour on the site moved behind a token, which made a dark theme a palette rather than a rewrite. Picked up a command palette, a durable waitlist and a shipping log — the page you're reading — on the way through.

The voxel character, and the fire that followed the cursor
Cut
The landing page had a character with an on-fire layer revealed by a cursor-tracked mask on a requestAnimationFrame loop. It was the nicest thing on the site and the least honest — a lab that sells restraint shouldn't open with its loudest trick. The write-up survives it.

Ink & Bone flips to paper
Changed
The near-monochrome system stayed; the sheet went from near-black to a warm off-white, and the rocket mark was replaced by the circuit-G monogram set in the accent rather than reversed out of a filled tile.

Performance, mobile and SEO pass
Changed
Case-study clips stopped preloading until they were actually on screen, the header's backdrop blur became desktop-only, and every route got real metadata and structured data.

Project Halcyon
Cut
An Unreal Engine 5 project that got as far as a case study on this site before we accepted it wasn't going to earn the attention it needed. Replaced in the archive by NexusMind, which had.
Jul 5, 2026
The Lab, and an RSS feed for it
Shipped
Writing got its own section, per-note OpenGraph images and a feed — on the theory that a lab that never publishes what it learned is just a studio with better branding.
Jul 3, 2026
Beta waitlists on the two companion apps
Cut
Added and removed inside a day. The construction and logistics companion apps ship to existing suite customers, so a public waitlist was collecting addresses we had no plan for.
Jul 2, 2026
Marapone Copilot
Cut
A second AI product alongside MaraponeAI, before it was clear it was the same product wearing a different name. Folded back into the platform.
2026
ScopeGuard
Shipped
Scope-gap analysis across tender documents — finds what the drawings say and the specification doesn't, before it becomes a change order.
2026
AI Estimator
Shipped
Estimating, risk and scenario modelling on the customer's own hardware, reading their own historical cost data.
2026
Blueprint Auditor
Shipped
Drawing review, takeoff and deficiency tracking against the Ontario Building Code — running entirely on-prem.
2026
Five more in the lab
Started
YuGi-Dex, NexusMind, Orbit and the two Marapone companion apps entered production. Some of them won't finish, and this log will say so.
2025
Marapone Construction & Logistics Suites
Shipped
The two industry suites built on MaraponeAI, deployed on customers' own infrastructure.
2025
MaraponeAI
Shipped
Domain-tuned models running on hardware the customer already owns. Bought once, source included, nothing leaving the building. Everything above is built on it.
2025
GASPEROHLAB
Started
Founded in Toronto. Independent, no investors.
Product milestones before this site existed are recorded to the year rather than the day — we'd rather be vague than invent a date.

Have something worth building?
A game, an app, an AI model, or a problem that doesn't have a name yet — tell us about it and we'll build the prototype.
