Built with TrackerVI. Built in collaboration with the TrackerVI team — they led product direction and gaming domain data; we engineered the web platform, mapping architecture, and progression engines.
TrackerVI is a dedicated companion site built for Grand Theft Auto VI, providing players with an interactive collectibles map across Leonida, money, heist and business-upgrade calculators, and a launch countdown. Built to run with zero lag on mobile browsers without requiring user registration, it delivers instant utility when players need it most.
Rather than relying on bulky wikis with aggressive ad scripts and mandatory account walls, TrackerVI is engineered around client-side persistence and zero-latency interactions. Players can track hundreds of points of interest, compute optimal payout paths, and export or sync their progress seamlessly across devices.

The companion site problem
Most gaming companion sites and wikis suffer from the same issues: heavy advertising scripts that make mobile browsers crawl, forced account signups just to check off a collectible, and brittle cloud databases that fail during game launch traffic spikes.
TrackerVI was architected from the outset to eliminate that friction. The platform loads instantly, respects player privacy, and treats the client device as the primary source of truth.
Vector-driven regional mapping
Leonida is massive, covering six distinct regions with hundreds of planned points of interest, collectibles, and locations. TrackerVI uses a custom coordinate and vector layer that renders pins smoothly without hitching the main thread on low-power mobile devices.
Interactive filters let players toggle categories, view zone checklists, and inspect details without full page reloads or lagging the viewport.
Local-first persistence and zero-friction sync
Players shouldn't have to create a login and password just to save whether they collected a stunt jump. TrackerVI stores all progress locally on the device using fast client storage, surviving browser restarts and intermittent connections.
For players switching between mobile and desktop, the system provides one-click exportable backup payloads and URL-based shareable progress snapshots, bypassing the need for a centralised credential database.
Real-time economic and heist calculators
The financial meta in modern open-world games requires planning: crew cut allocations, business purchase paybacks, and asset yield calculations. TrackerVI includes deterministic calculators that evaluate compound returns and net payouts as users adjust sliders and crew selections.
The calculation models run entirely on-device with zero network latency, giving players immediate feedback as they plan their in-game investments.
Where it stands
TrackerVI is live ahead of the game's release, actively serving countdowns, initial Leonida regional maps, and planning calculators. As verified in-game locations and mechanics launch, the data packs will update seamlessly while preserving player checklists and local state.
